Oct 26, 2015 how hip hop is viewed by parents and middle schoolers isnt what i mean by influence on the genre. also, saying someone had more of a lasting impact doesnt mean eminem didnt have any.
Oct 26, 2015 it's not a moot point. its regionalism is one of its most important qualities. if the album hasn't clicked with you to the point where you don't recognize it as the epitome of everything that's gone on in compton since 07, then it's not for you, but you're not qualified to talk about it. you'd be saying the same thing if this were some film that a poster didn't think was important despite being ill-informed of its context.
Oct 26, 2015 listen to his other projects too, dont stop with madvillainy. doom also produces if you didnt know
Oct 26, 2015 Not to stan, I'm trying to be objective but I don't see how that's true. TPAB is the most critically celebrated hip-hop album ever made according to metacritic.

Oct 26, 2015 Yeah, certainly makes me (the one who shares probably the most popular opinion in rap history) look bad.
Oct 26, 2015 ok enlighten me. how did he influence the direction of hip hop in any tangible, lasting way. inb4 somehow this is about how many people liked/listen to eminem again.
