Harlem World and his features in Puff’s No Way Out cement his legacy if you ask me! Let alone his legendary flow in Mo Money Mo Problems :banderas:

Mase was raw but retrospectively intriguing in any of the Children of the Corn cuts, way before he slowed down the flow once he landed on Bad Boy’s doorstep.

Cam’ron during children of the corn is legendary. While I really really loved the more cocky arrogant and sometimes goofy Cam’ron that came after, I think he was best during children of the corn. Dude was ferocious. I love those old verses so much. It really sucks so many of them are in s-----y quality. I pray someday we get the full children of the corn catalogue remastered.

Mase was dope back then but I always thought he was no where close to as good as Cam’ron.

    Thoughts?

Young Cam was a lot of fun, he clearly had that Nasty Nas influence and was unfiltered aggression and imagination.

I agree, Mase was fantastic but Cam was always from a different cloth. Children of the Corn were all dope, L was a monster, McGruff was great, Bloodshed was gone too soon and Cam & Mase still had their best years ahead of them. They practically changed Harlem’s rap scene forever

song to song though, Wanna Know was f---ing garbage. Back 2 Back might not have been No Vaseline or Ether, but it definitely blows Meek's attempt out of the water.

but you are right. the ghostwriting has been stuck to him ever since. so that could be a W for Meek. but strictly music, Drake bodied.
