once you've heard RTD, there's isnt much else to hear from Biggie lyrically. LAD is just more of the same, which was fine because it was GOAT either way

I feel like Biggie could've potentially beaten him but he blew up and went out in a much shorter time span than Pac.

I definitely like Pac's discography way more, but yeah I'm also a huge Pac stan.

Pac had like 9 albums worth of s--- I like, Biggie had 2 albums.

Do you legit believe this? Just wondering...I'm embarrassed to say I was into the Pac alive theories when I was way younger, but didn't know anyone actually still believed that s--- lol..feel like it's just kinda a running joke now I guess.

He grew to be a way better story teller and grew as an artist on LAD...it absolutely is necessary to listen to it , it's not more of the same

tbh i think Biggie would have fell off after LAD

Pac had infinitely more potential because he wrote about a multitude of topics. Biggie didnt rap about much outside of the mafioso lifestyle and being a hustler.

yea but lyrically his angle isnt any different than it was on RTD. the only difference is that he was now rapping within a wider concept (the whole death concept on the album) and in the mafioso style.

Don't know what album y'all listening to if you don't think Biggie grew as an artist and broadened out his lyrics and messages on LAD...

Nah man it’s just kind of a joke now as you said. It’s funny bc I saw an article earlier saying how Suge Knight recently told an interviewer that he was with Pac after he supposedly died lol

The documentary that the interview is from airs on Sunday & it’s about Pac’s death (not sure if the whole show is about it tho) so I might give that a watch

I’ve never been a big conspiracy theorist though

hence the "not much". he does have songs like this, but he doesnt do it often. Pac regularly dabbled in VARIOUS different subject areas. Biggie was more linear and one-dimensional as a lyricist tbh although like you are saying he can get introspective and s--- (as he does well)

if he was more diverse lyrically i actually might consider giving Biggie the edge

he grew yes, but not as a lyricist per say, he was still generally rapping about the same things, just in a more refined way. this just came off boring to me personally, i prefer the rawness of RTD to the lushness and refinement of LAD.

    Kendrick vs Joey.

Kendrick better artist, Joey better lyrically

honestly not that into that verse as i would like to be

Biggie and that flow do not go together man, half his words are slurred. s--- sounds like they sped the beat up a bit too much and he's struggling to keep up
