Jun 3, 2017 The word holds a huge historical and social weight whereas none of those other things do. It holds no bearing whether or not you think people should or shouldn't get offended by it, and honestly it's not even really about it being offensive. Black people don't like it when white people say "n----" because it represents hundreds of years of oppression and enslavement of an entire race. I mean yeah it was just a stupid joke but allowing that to be said on live TV is basically just a "f--- you" to an entire race.
