    I'm finding it harder to decipher if he's s--- or good than I should. Like if he just rapped on beat he'd be fine. He obviously knows how to make a hit.

    He's going to have to rap in time eventually, it's just a little gimmick/meme that's given him attention but it's not going to last long-term at all. There's being different/unique as an artist and pushing boundaries but then there's also literally doing things incorrectly. You could almost argue what he's doing isn't necessarily music and more so parody.

    I get where you're coming from but out of time to me is out of time. He's not always from what I've heard but creating new flows etc. you still need to be in sync musically. Like anyone could just make a new "flow" over a beat but if it's not in time to me it's just exempt from consideration if that makes sense.

    Bleed It is his best song. Not a huge fan of his music, but I can barely listen to E-40 either.

    My girlfriend's middle schoolers are obsessed with this dude lmao. Feel like middle school me would've hated this s---. He's def grown on me tho.

    Him being a good looking guy helps a lot too. He's got a bit of an ASAP Rocky vibe where he could almost be more successful as a model.

    interesting comparison tbh. might be an upopular opinion, but i never liked e-40...mostly for the same reason. :emoji_shrug:

    For whatever reason bay area hip-hop was really popular at my high school (prob cuz it was the closest region to us with a scene that was popping + e-40 had that lil bit of national fame in the mid-2000s with tell me when to go) so I'll always have a soft spot for it

    Oh I don't think he's doing it intentionally at all haha, I just mean it's closer to being that than legitimate music in some ways.

    Blueface will never make a song as good as "Sprinkle Me" or "Dusted and Disgusted", so please stop with The E-40 comparisons.

    I personally don’t like blueface rapping but I can’t front, there something pure and endearing about him. I really like his beat selection and he has catchy hooks. It’s refreshing to see someone get this much attention while using west coast/Bay Area style beats. I don’t listen to him on my own time but when his songs come on I ain’t mad.
