Bobby Shmurda Home From Jail?

    Out on bail, fresh out of jail. Bobby Shmurda is finally home and released from jail on $2 million dollar bail. Not only is the GS9 rapper back on the streets but he’s taking the NYPD to court claiming he was falsely arrested. Shmurda, real name Ackquille Pollard, claims the drugs and guns police charged him with in 2014 weren’t his and has filed a lawsuit against Officer Douglas Corso.

    As of now there’s no word on fellow GS9 member Rowdy Rebel, who was also locked up when the studio and several other hangouts were raided in December 2014. More details on this as they unravel. Welcome home to Bobby.

    UPDATE: Contrary to what NY Daily News reported, Complex indicates that Bobby’s lawyer explained that while the lawsuit against the NYPD is true, he isn’t free just yet and awaiting his court date scheduled for May.
