Sep 30, 2016 Listened to it earlier but wasn't paying attention completely cuz I was trying to get s--- done, about to sit down and give it a proper listen later tonight.
Oct 5, 2016 lots of quality discussion itt never found a link so havent been able to listen to this yet
Oct 5, 2016 Heard this last night, I had no idea what was going on throughout the album but I loved it. I was expecting a nice smooth indie pop record but I'm glad it turned this way, I'm gonna listen to this again to really grasp it.
Oct 7, 2016 what's this like? i've never heard any of his work, only know a remix Zeds Dead did of Woods, and ofc Kanyes usage of it
Oct 7, 2016 His old stuff was very folk-y and acoustic. This is very much in a similar vein to his contributions on MBDTF.
Oct 7, 2016 For Emma, Forever Ago really indie feel to it but Bon Iver, Bon Iver is really accessible imo.
Oct 7, 2016 I was in the same situation as you, gave For Emma a cursory listen, and then moved on to this. Even still, this album blew me away. Its just sonically pleasing in like 20 different ways. Definitely in my top 5 albums of the year. And 33 God, especially the live premiere where the backing vocals sound like Ye, is top 5 songs of the year.
Oct 7, 2016 so uh.... not the biggest fan of this, surprisingly. the singles are still fantastic but there's just so much wasted potential on the album, this feels like something that should have been released two years after bon iver, bon iver, not five.
