Sep 20, 2016 Revisited PP2 today and enjoyed it much more than originally. Definitely the boldest production he's ever went over. His subject matter although pretty familiar seems to come from a slightly different perspective now. Much more reflection from his current state and not just reciting old tales. This is definitely a landmark bones project because this is the first after the "blow up" where he really acknowledges the life changes in his lyrics. He's making more money than ever he's really selling out shows now and has a direct line of clones and influence. These aren't just big headed over the top boast anymore. 8.5/10 his best since Rotten
Sep 20, 2016 It really is a solid album, there was probably a few tracks I could do without. The only thing I want is the songs to be longer. Makes me wonder if he has it in him to actually make longer tracks throughout a whole album.
Sep 20, 2016 Everyone's wondered for 3 close to 4 years now if he'd ever leave the one verse format at this point I doubt it... It does s--- because a lot of songs to feel slightly undercooked and not up to their full potential
Sep 20, 2016 I agree completely, he has so much wasted potential. I know he said that he would start doing longer songs if he started charging money for an album. But who knows he may change.
Sep 20, 2016 Idk if he worded it exactly like that cause he's said in the past he'll never charge for his music because he himself never bought music growing up. I think he means if he gets the money from a label or investor to back him up he could do a lot more things with his music / shows / merch and that's how they'd make back their money invested in him
Sep 20, 2016 Sesh merch for the most part is such a joke lol. I think Its cool they're getting more serious with it with the footwear but as of now (I own a sesh hoodie) hes sort of a hypocrite for mass buying gildan products screen printing his logo on it and marking up the price that much
