    Ya...not sure how old u are but back in the day (2000-05) a lot of ppl tried to get signed to Shady...Within the last decade Yela was the last of the mohicans from back then to get signed...Boogie looks hella young tho and doesnt come off like a Kendrick Lamar or a J Cole at all

    Obie trice ran up on eminem at a stop light and busted a freestyle. Em was empressed that he could even come up with anything that quick.

    I can't wait for all these new, talented guys to drop a really s---, compromised version of themselves in about 3 years and then leave.

    Nah for real though, from the recent imagery (of retro, hard core hip-hop), to the W&G freestyles to Love Story... to now Trial By Fire...

    It feels like Em learned not to f--- with the artists and try to apply his cookie cutter formulas to them for success, after Yela and SH.

    I just wish he'd have done that to begin with and taken his own advice from 99 when he criticized Wyclef for doing the same thing to Canibus. Then we might have two more classic Shady albums.

    Just wanna point out the sampled vocals layered on the beat are from this... f---ing beautiful tbh.



    I don't know why but I checked up on his music once he signed to shady and was really surprised. Makes me wonder how many other artists I'm missing like this because I don't really look for music anymore.

    Two other songs I really like that haven't been mentioned in this thread are Sunroof and Won't Be The Same. Sunroof got such feel good vibes. I don't know if I've ever seen a rapper draw so much artistic inspiration from a relationship.

    I’ve only seen 2 (freestyles) videos with this dude up until now. One on hot97 and the other being the cypher. The cypher verse was a let down imo. His hot97 freestyle was dope. So he was kinda a hit or miss artist for me. These videos show more of his skill. Great choices in picking them out for newer listeners.
