Jan 16, 2016 Article Source: MusicTimes by Erika Benton-Martin | Jan 14, 2016 20:00 PM EST Earlier this month, Boosie Badazz released his heart wrenching album, In My Feelings (Goin' Thru It). Apparently, the rapper is in better spirits. Boosie announced that he plans to release another album, titled Out My Feelings (In My Past), to be released in February. According to a post shared on Boosie’s Instagram account, the album will drop on Feb. 1 on iTunes. The release date falls just one month after his previous release. He revealed the upcoming date with the album’s cover art, which features a collage of photos of pivotal moments from the Baton Rouge rapper’s past. The cover’s standout image shows a weeping Boosie draped in a jumper marked by the infamous Angola penitentiary. In front of that image is a more recent photo of Boosie with a big smile on his face. officialboosieig "Out my feelings in my past" dropping February 1st on iTunes ‼️‼️ all my fans n supporters support me /if u love real music download on iTunes Feb 1st this s--- is str8 LIKE ALWAYS‼️‼️‼️Str8 Gangsta shittttttttttt‼️‼️ artwork by kdesigns1 In My Feelings (Goin’ Thru It) featured 10 tracks and was released following Boosie’s successful kidney surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. The project finds him reflecting on the past few months as he’s had to battle for his life. He first revealed his diagnosis back in November via social media. Boosie’s original Instagram post remains on his account but without the striking caption, which read, ""I need all my fans to pray for me doctors told me I have cancer on my kidneys prayer is power that's why I'm letting the world know." Aside from his music, Boosie is also ready to try his hand in the film industry. Earlier this month, he announced his plans for a biopic. He posted a photo with Jamal Woolard, the actor who starred as Biggie in the 2009 film Notorious, captioned with, “n talks with the real sharks of the movie industry n it's official "BOOSIE" the movie is on the way ‼be on the look out for casting call , This Movie will be epic.” Check back at the top of next month to hear Out My Feelings (In My Past). @WPG, @Narsh, @Big Mitch
Jan 16, 2016 This guy is throwing out music like crazy. Hope he'll continue to do so for a long time. #pray4boosie
Jan 19, 2016 Boosie added as artist for News/Leaks. You can follow him now using portal and I added this album so when it leaks hopefully one of the staff will push the noti for you guys. @Big Mitch, @Enigma and others.
Feb 5, 2016 I enjoyed this project a lot but I have to say, Boosie drops some really cringe-worthy bars some times. "Every time you turn the tv you see gays mayne, kids ain't supposed to see this at this early age mayne"
Feb 5, 2016 He old school, raised that way, hard to change someone's views on s--- like that. And I've only heard two songs, I just got home and was planning to give this a full listen sometime tonight. How is it?
Feb 5, 2016 Yeah, I know but it's hard to ignore it too. Especially considering how he drops that line on a song titled "the truth" and he goes from talking about insitutional racism, police brutality and basically how his people are oppressed to how gays shouldn't be seen by kids. It's like bruh.... Lol do you not recognize a contradiction there? But yeah anyways, other than that I thought this project was really good. It's a bit more up-beat compared to "in my feelings." Not as dark/depressing. It may be better tbh. Have to give it more listens though.
Feb 5, 2016 I haven't been able to get into his more up-beat and hype songs, I was able to get into that last album because it was real personal. Hope I like this, will report back later. 15 minutes until Future!
Feb 9, 2016 This project is still personal, it's just directed differently. More towards his community & social issues like I mentioned earlier rather than his well-being. I honestly still can't figure out if this is better than "in my feelings." @WPG help me out here
Feb 9, 2016 but he's speaking 'the truth' to how HE feels..it's the truth to HIM idk, I don't like Boosie much...but I'll give this a chance
Feb 9, 2016 I don't want to get into an argument over homosexuality but in context with the song, he's rapping it as if it he's preaching some sort of knowledge rather than a personal perspective & with that in mind it's cringe-worthy for obvious reasons. You should check out "in my feelings" first. He released that earlier this year and it's probably more accessible.
Feb 12, 2016 I'm listening to this right know and so far it's a better experience than yesterday's kanye half-baked fashion show. It's actually really dope. Better than predecessor.
Feb 19, 2016 I think it's arguable that either one is of these are better than the other but I think both are great in there own respects. "In My Feelings" was much more personal/dark/depressing where as I think "Out My Feelings" was much more optimistic & maybe celebratory in a sense.
Feb 19, 2016 That's kinda what I'm gettin at and I was more in the mood for the latter. I'm just typin on my tablet and cbf elaborating ha its a c---- to type on this thing
