    Good question. Khan has proven time and time again that he's too proud/overconfident/incompetent to use defense effectively. He's also not only naturally a weightclass below, but Canelo has been looking big lately. Like "how is he making 155" big. That said, I don't think of Canelo as a blood thirsty KO specialist. I'm pretty sure Khan won't be able to hurt or even deter Canelo. I'm pretty sure Khan will get stopped. I'm not sure whether that will be in the first or the eighth. Regardless, it should be entertaining.

    Canelo gonna use this as a warm up before he gets the balls to deal with GGG.

    I'm a hugh boxing fan, and I think that it will be a one sided fight. If Khan can avoid losing some of the early rounds and does not have to play catch up... he might have a bit of a chance.

    But let's say that Canelo is up 4-2 or 5-1 in the first half of the fight... Khan is gonna have to take more risks and Canelo is gonna catch him. He is a great counter puncher and can end it all with one punch.

    Khan has been good as of late, but I don't see it continuing after this fight.

    Canelo has decided to vacate the WBC Middleweight Belt due to their insistence that he fight GGG before a certain deadline. Most read this as him (De La Hoya) wanting to have all the leverage in negotiations when they do meet, forcing GGG down to 155 and making the purse split more one sided. This is a historic moment in regards to ducking an opponent. We haven't seen a duck of this magnitude side Riddick Bowe held a press conference to throw his belt in the trash instead of fighting Lennox Lewis.

    Canelo never fought at 160lbs during his reign as middleweight champion. Nobody has since Kelly Pavlick in 2009. He also ended one of the strongest lineal titles in the sport that goes back over a decade: Hopkins-Taylor-Pavlik-Martinez-Cotto-Canelo.

    As interim champion, GGG will be the new WBC Middleweight Champion. He will probably fight Danny Jacobs next as per statements he made after the Khan fight. The last belt he needs to unify the division is held by Billy Joe Saunders. These will be the best fights on his resume as of yet.
