    being serious for a second I agree, Europeans have much stronger gun control than America which means it's less likely for them to have major gun crimes compared to the U.S. where it's essentially a partison issue with both sides having the opposite goal from the other's mind. For me I'm a staunch constitutionist so if we do ban *all* guns than what's the difference with just getting rid of free speech and freedom of assembly or having the right to a fair trial. I do think we should enact gun laws that make it harder for anyone who is of unsound mind and underaged to posses a gun (Imo the minor age should be 21 but I can understand why people would want it to be at 18) but at the same time not too harshly and to punish law abiding citizens who wish to collect guns or protect themselves.

    I'm personally for banning certain types of firearms that don't need to be allowed like flamethrowers & miniguns and I'm kinda iffy on banning semi-automatic rifles but I don't see the reason why anyone would want to have an automatic rifle unless they like collecting it.

    There's 310 million guns in America and it's far too easy to get one for anyone who wants one, that's a big part of the problem but yes there's other issues as well.

    Not sure wtf you guys are arguing about but thought I'd try to somewhat get this topic back on track at least.

    Yeah I get ur point. And I don't care if americans have guns I just don't see the point of it.. why would u want people to walk around with guns? Its dangerous as f--- lol.

    Obviously we have shootings here too (criminals etc) but another plus side is police almost never have to use their guns because the chance of a suspect having one is waaay lower while in US everyone has one lol (especially criminals).

    But yeah the fact that people say 'dont take away our guns!!' While things like this keep happening wonders me. On the other hand guns are a part of the US identity I guess
