After a 10 year hiatus could the dog make a come back? Or do you think it's a lost cause?.

Personally... I've waited a decade for the dog to bark again and I have 100% faith this will be a album of the year contender.

He deff got shine on drakes album. Dmx has always spoke from the heart. He was no lyrical myrical word play mother f---er. He was real, he was grimmy and he new how to make a song. I think of he can find the right production it's honestly game over.

A 10 year hiatus? I thought he released an album a few years ago? He has no real chance of a comeback

Ehh, potentially. Not a major mainstream comeback if that's what you're implying. He's his own worst enemy, the only person preventing him from making a decent comeback is himself.

Watch a interview by him. He is probably one of the only rappers that has stayed themselves. He hasn't sold out changed up. Nothing.

    - hes been a full on crackhead for like a few years
    - he's been away from the industry for what, 10 years?
    - probably has no good connections to the industry anymore
    - his style is outdated now

Heard he puts on amazing shows and has a lot of energy, should be really good. I've always wanted to see him live.

Really doubt he can make any serious comeback but I'd be happy with another solid album.

On a major, commercial scale? Probably not. But then again, who knows. Fat Joe and Remy Ma have a successful single in 2016, anything is possible.

    Wtf

The dude dropped an album in 2012 and a mixtape last year

Unless you strictly mean a "comeback"... which... doesn't even make sense
Are rappers allowed to have "comebacks" 20 years later?

That's when It's Dark and h--- Is Hot released... even if we fast forward to 16 years ago to ...And Then There Was X, which people consider his last good album... There is no "comeback" to be had. That was 16 years ago. He's always been flames and put out music and if you feel he fell off 16 years ago... what makes you think he's suddenly gonna get a boner and rap like he did in the late 90s again? Whatever music he puts out now is not going to come anywhere near a "comeback". He has stayed true to his music tho and been consistent in his message this entire time and as a fan that's good enough for me considering his rocky life. Dude shouldn't even be alive anymore.

Could he miraculously pull a 10/10 out of nowhere anyways? No, he's a crackhead.
