    Well that's my point. If you, yourself don't even believe they have our best interest in mind, how can you be so sure the vaccines they provide are 100% safe?

    At the end of the day it's all about money.

    But like I said, i'm not an anti vaccine person. I'm just surprised at everyone having so much faith in them when all of this is still pretty new.

    And you got people in this thread calling the ones who don't want to get vaccinated idiots...

    Sure people who are against all vaccines are idiots. But it's not like these covid vaccines have been out and tested for years. I think people who don't want to get it have a perfectly valid reason not to.

    Is there a source for anything in that infographic?

    I don't trust big pharma to always have our best interests in mind, but I do trust vaccines. Those ideas don't have to be at odds with each other...like what would big pharma's evil plan be with the vaccine (at least, in the USA where it's free)? It's not like opioids or benzos where they can get us addicted to have us as customers for life.

    Ya'll should watch The Crime of the Century doc on HBO—it's sickening. d-ck Cheney levels of depraved.

    Yeah 2nd pfeizer shot kicked my a--- too, sickest i've felt in a long while..

    Pretty jealous of those who somehow get little or even no side effects..but yea it did go away after a day or 2.

    I've heard so much hearsay. My brother was convinced if you've had Covid (even unknowingly) then your first shot will be s--- as your body knows what to fight.
    If you haven't had Covid then your first shot will be fine and the second will be s--- as only then will your body know what to fight.

    I've had 2 shots of Phizer and no symptoms other than a sore arm on both occasions. I felt tired the day after the second one but that also coincided with my return to work after 5 months of sat on my arse. So more likely to just be a shock to the system of working again.

    Although, I'm young/middle aged and healthy for the most part so my immune system is going to be better than most. But that's ultimately what it comes down to, how good or bad someone's immune system is.

    This. Not gonna happen tho. Here around 35-40% is vaccinated now, atm the people from 55-60 getting their invites. People below 55 (except for people working at hospitals etc) are still waiting tho. Hopefully end june / early july for me!

    i think it was ~3 weeks too early, given that it takes 6 weeks following your first moderna shot to be fully vaccinated...but this is the sad truth. starting next month, barring special cases (immunocompromised individuals who legitimately can't get the vaccination), i won't have much of any remorse for those who take a fall. h--- -- my sister's family is anti-covid-vax (despite being vaccinated for everything else in life..smh) and they all recently contracted the virus..full truth: once I heard they weren't critically ill (hospital-bound), i wasn't sorry at all that it happened.

    Honestly what can we do at this point? I mean every adult 16 and over had the chance to get the vaccine for free if they wanted, and even people ages 12-15 are getting the chance now too..But even with all this, last I saw around 65% of the country is still not vaccinated..

    It's frustrating but I mean wtf else can those of us who got it do? we can't wait for them forever. I heard that Ohio is offering a million dollars each week to a random adult who gets the vaccine, it's crazy and sad/pathetic how we have to convince so many people to get this d--- vaccine so this can finally end.

    Yeah with half the population still unvaxed this honestly makes me kinda nervous. Feels like it’s opening the floodgates for stupidity. But I guess we’ll find out one way or another. Obviously I wanna trust the CDC but I don’t trust people lol

    bout time. I don't think they really specified all situations though. From what I read it was still wear masks in busy places like airplanes, buses, but they didn't specify restaurants/bars...NJ is still sticking with masks for the time being tho :emoji_slight_frown:
