    Honestly people here been making comparisons to WW2 even before the vaccination. The curfews, lockdowns. It was being occupied all over again!! Luckily it was only a small group but one of them was a politician that had a (small) following... scary tbh.

    Just think it needs to be said. I don't think weighing up a choice that is getting/not getting the vaccine, and comparing it against apartheid which separated those due to their skin colour is quite appropriate?

    Like the sentiment of oppression is a thread I'm guessing was what you were hinting at @Ricky (if not, feel free to correct me here), but it's a rather extreme leap in comparison.

    like guys yes, covid death rates largely impact people with preexisting conditions - old, obese. But not always and still, that’s hardly a justification for shrugging and not getting the vaccine. It’s highly contagious and we have an obligation to one another. And ffs, absolutely worst case, it’s zero risk to folks like Richard and jet, but high reward - return to normal life, etc.

    My post really ought to be pinned to the top of this thread as a public service announcement. People are misconstruing this study in so many ways & it’s frustrating. It should also be noted, Provincetown, where this study was done in, has a 90%+ vaccination rate I believe. Basic understanding in statistics is important.

    The government wants everyone to get vaccinated and go straight the f--- back to work and be 150% more productive than we were in the 50s for less money... it is the completely the opposite of what you think.

    I just want things to be like they were 5 years ago.


    What I don't want is everything shut down and the hospitals full of sick people in case I have an accident or something and need a doctor and a couple nurses.

    Not sure if it's placebo or not lol but those fancy electrolyte waters are rly refreshing when you're dehydrated.

    when I went to Future's b-day all they had to drink was 1800 Tequila and "Premium Hydration Alkaline Water" lol (plus a few mixers ofc)
