Mar 17, 2017 Well s---, @SoccerSXN You'd think there'd be some rigging in place to keep the giants away from each other...... But Bayern-Madrid doe Now one of you can f--- off (preferably Bayern, because they don't have the league to focus on, so they won't be prone to the same drops of form the rest of us might have). You can't really predict any of the three real matchups (lets be real, LCFC will be destroyed in both legs)
Mar 17, 2017 Ok we did also expect sevilla to destroy them, but wastage of chances is what stopped them Atletico don't have any title hopes, so they will be able to focus more on the CL
Mar 17, 2017 Atletico - Leicester Dortmund - Monaco Bayern - Real Juventus - Barca am looking forward to Juve - Barca after seeing what Barca has done in the last round
Mar 17, 2017 I want to see Bayern get rid of Real, would be nice to see different teams winning for once.
Mar 17, 2017 Watch LCFC grind out a result.... Kasper is a Schmeichel after all, he's their best chance of surviving the tie.
Mar 17, 2017 Have you ever watched atletico play? They do the same thing, expect at a level that has them taming bayern. Also, Oblak is currently top 3 goalkeepers in the world.
Mar 17, 2017 Ironically, if you went to any betting store, the odds would be against you for every single one of those picks
Mar 17, 2017 Leicester is just pushing though lol. BTW! the entire EPL should thank LCFC! If they dropped out, and juventus managed to win the entire thing (which they can) then Serie A would officially be the third ranked league in the world, and the EPL would drop to fourth (guess the top 2 lol). How's that important you ask? Only the top 3 leagues get 4 UCL spots.
Mar 17, 2017 This would have happened last year if Bayern didn't beat juventus, and PSG finished the job vs City.
Mar 17, 2017 Not a whole lot tbh but still, no one expected them to win the BPL, but they did. No one expected them to get past the group stage, but they did, and the same goes on for the last round. Anything can happen, and to instantly dismiss their chances is silly. I agree that it will be unlikely, but honestly i wouldn't be too surprised if they sneak a win... How do you fair Man UTD chances in the Europa?
Mar 17, 2017 I get that, it's not really luck. Leicester played the best football in the EPL last season and that's why they won. They are currently playing the worst football of the 8 teams in the CL and atletico are seasoned veterans in the late stages (2 finals in the last 3 years) Yeah that's the thing, unless some red card incident happens, atletico isn't a team you can sneak a win against. Their back line doesn't press at maximum height like barca's so you won't get those clear cut counters . They have three of the best defenders on earth with impeccable chemistry and coordination between any two of them. They have one of the hardest work rates in the world and this season, the focus has been creating a dangerous attack to compliment the hard working midfield and solid defense (though the transition has been a little rough.) It's just a case where atletico are known to be stingy f---s , so i'm skeptical of LCFC getting the same luck they did against Sevilla Solid favorites, mou is the type of coach who can grind out results against better teams in these competitions, but there aren't much better teams in the europa to begin with (if any at all). Not to mention its thier focus, and they have what no other team in europa does, and that's zlatan.
Mar 17, 2017 And Schalke as well im pretty sure. We found out in another thread that we like the same clubs across like 4 different league
Mar 17, 2017 I know people from Dortmund so for them I hope they get far. I'm indeed a Schalke fan, but in this case I obviously root for Ajax. @Jakey @Guma And yeah we support the same teams lol
