Dec 27, 2017 He hasnt really shat on Kodak's rapping. It's his lifestyle and actions. He's never really listened to Kodak and he admitted this when ak tried to say he was dissing new rappers like him. When project baby 2 came out he checked out a few songs and he said "I've heard some kodak. He's pretty hard"
Dec 27, 2017 beat was bearable, u cant expect every em production to sound like something the bass brothers would produce. Artists need to evolve the execution of the product while holding true to their roots in the lyricism and rhyme scheme of their content. Kanye does this, Kendrick does this, Krit does this, Tyler does this. Why is it so different for Em?
Dec 27, 2017 It's not that deep I just hate the beat so even if he spit the best bars ever I wouldn't want to listen to it. For the record I loved the production on Believe which was also kinda new for him
Dec 27, 2017 I personally think that Budden’s criticism isn’t entirely genuine, he seems to be making a statement and usually people that a make a public statement want to grasp attention. If Budden thinks it’s trash then that’s fair but why would he use a platform to express that? Eminem threw down the gauntlet with Untouchable and probably put off quite a significant portion of his fans. Perhaps Budden doesn’t want to show any positive vibes towards Untouchable as it might have an impact on his fan base so by him saying it’s trash is sort of saying he is against the message. It’s fair to say the rollout was bad but he just seems like he is making statements just for attention which oviously profits him in some way otherwise why would he put himself in jeopardy for slating his boss
Dec 27, 2017 I was talking about the beat can't u read lol. Also song was great, nobody cares about rhyme schemes lol
Dec 27, 2017 trashin All I Think About cus hes just saying rap s--- like most rappers do but praising Believe just cus it sounds good lmao stay in ur lane kid
Dec 27, 2017 All I Think About verses are so good. He took 50 steps backwards as a rapper on Revival. Such utter lazy corn in comparison.
Dec 27, 2017 dud i like to pretend that the Southpaw soundtrack was the unofficial Shady XV em should've put out. With the exception of Phenomenal and Kings Never Die, the entire soundtrack was fire with some of the best productions and fine features Shady has done in a while. Em was the executive producer of the film and the soundtrack, he definetely knows how to pick productions that go hard while keepin it street hop. Notice how thats the only album that wasnt released thru Interscope and how Rick Rubin was entirely absent from producing. I think interscope and Rubin is just all up on Em's mastery and execution of production and softening it up so it can go clean for the masses so the album goes over platinum. Em prolly half assed this lp so sales can go weak and Interscope can lay off Em's music since these industry goons only see dollar bills. We can prolly get the tru Em after this but we been sayin this for such a long time so lord knows if this is just wishful thinking
Dec 27, 2017 Eminem can't diss anybody over their views on this album, this is the music he wants to create from now on. he can't also be labeled as the greatest rapper anymore either, he's a commercial pop star. he's in the same list with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.
Dec 28, 2017 How can Budden go from being up Ems a--- to coming out with this s---? Really harsh and strange. My guess is he is trying to get are toon to his new show (if it is a new show?)
