Maybe so but I’d rather an an unexclusive than nothing at all and it still goes onto his Spotify page and s--- showing he’s featured on it so I’m not bothered by it

Dec 18, 2020 i've seen lower tier (crooked I level) rappers "lease" a verse like you can "lease" a beat. meaning you can use it for much cheaper but it's not exclusive and anyone can buy the rights to it.

Which I’m prolly still gonna do to be honest but I also got this industry icons Black Friday package and it was cheaper and has a few other features so I took it. I’m not big enough to worry about exclusivity right now. I make like 1000 bucks a year off music.

And if he likes the track enough that he decides to share it and say hey checkout this track I’m featured on then that’s plenty enough people seeing it to be worth it to me. now I wouldn’t 1500 for a non exclusive verse from him. But 1500 for exclusive custom verse, I make well enough money to afford it many times and not be bothered by it.
