Jan 9, 2018 Eminem's verse, the hook and the beat are the only good thing about that song. 50 Cent's verses have a lot of stupid punchlines and are average.
Jan 9, 2018 Anyone who hates on 50 clearly isint old enough to remember how big he was when he dropped grodt. 50 and em were arguably the biggest musicians on the planet, in any genre, for years! That right there makes him completely incomparable to Joe budden who hasn't done even a fraction of what 50 has done in his career.. On a side note can we make a hip hop section for people over 30 this site is losing me.. some of the s--- I see on here just blows me away I stick around for the old school posters who know their s--- tho..
Jan 9, 2018 Exactly! These 2 clowns were probably not even born when 50 released GRODT! The insane amount of hype when he dropped In Da Club was only ever seen when Em dropped MMLP!
Jan 9, 2018 I'm 20 and I remember how big 50 cent was. Most of that has to do with Em and Dr. Dre. I never considered his music to be that good. I have some of his albums I regret buying and once supporting this clown and a mediocre rapper.
Jan 9, 2018 So u were 5 when GRODT dropped?LMFAO! Stop embarrassing yourself acting like you bought his album in 2003 when u were 5! Hahahahaha
Jan 9, 2018 So much overreacting in this thread...verse isn't really that good. His flow is still the same old s-----y speed flow he has been using lately. He also goes acapella light speed, doesn't ride the beat at all, and starts the verse out spitting nonsense as usual. He's tarnishing what is going to be revivals superb legacy on the long run. Also 50 cent sucks and always has, you guys are mis remembering how big he was cuz he was never that big, plus Budden is a goat and 50 is beyond washed up lol
Jan 9, 2018 agreed. i gave this a few more spins and I actually like it for the most past. but his flow still sounds f-----, he still can't stay on the beat and there's a lot of pointless filler bars. this is getting overhyped because revival was so trash by comparison. That being said, its definitely a step in the right direction
