Oct 24, 2016 just 8/10? u think thats worthy of "leader of new school" lol j cole doesnt even have any influence
Oct 24, 2016 Eh, Drake is far more successful than Cole is when it comes to impact on pop culture. And if we're talking talent Kendrick and Chance are far better. The teenage black girls love him tho
Oct 31, 2016 8/10 is what critics are saying but who gives a F about what critics have to say (it's music....)? It's still amazing that music critics exist these days. Cole influenced the game a lot (A LOT), he is basically the blueprint for a lot of these n----s dropping albums without radio hits. He doesn't have any influence you say? He changed the whole game and the mindset of the business people the way they thought you have to go to put an album out that would sell (numerous radio singles before you even could get a date). This is hip hop, we shouldn't care how successful or impact full they are for the pop culture if we are talking leader of the new school. Yes Drake is more successful in the pop culture, but he sings more than he raps. Drake is basically a radio rapper, he can create hits so easily (no, that is not a bad thing, but I really think he got a bunch of people just giving him templates of songs to create lol), but his content is 90% only love songs for girls and broken girly boys. Great artist and great music, but less respect as a rapper. To say Kendrick and Chance are "far better" talent wise is completely subjective.
Oct 31, 2016 long time since i seen any1 write paragraphs this big filled with nothing but s--- arguments
Nov 1, 2016 J. Cole's worst song to me because he basically sucks up to Nas and apologizes for making "Work Out", I was going to post a satirical comment but then again, people need a slash to know it's satirical.
Nov 2, 2016 Lol if that is what you get out of it, you are really missing the point. No further discussion is needed
