Apr 23, 2015 "ITT people discovered that artist edit their verses " why is this thread still alive? i'm gonna repost this since it uses actual logic rather than blatant hate toward eminems verse few things 1) are we talking about the first few bars that end with the jetpack line? because that is very clearly added for cartoon effect ..unless we talking whole verse ... 2) punch ins are a thing and if you think he recorded that verse in one take your a moron 3) even if he managed to rap the verse at that speed without using punch ins , you guys still don't like him anymore so whats it matter? 4)kanye uses auto tune to make him "sound" better "sonically" and so he can "sing" .. eminem can't use punch ins to rap fast? 5) i never thought for a second that verse was done in one take.. its the end effect that matters.. we got a fast a--- verse from em which was the goal don't see how thats "speeding up" the verse … they add vocal effects altering the pitch so it sounds cartoonish now tech n9ne raps fast but i know he also punches in verses at times as seen on one of his behind the scenes videos of some other song.. the only issue i see is that eminem basically spit a quadruple-time verse using PUNCH INS and you guys don't wanna give him credit no s--- it would be more impressive if he did it in one take.. but its probably impossible and not to mention isn't the point of the f---ing song , SHOWING OFF SPEED ? its for entertainment guys like wow these n----s don't know how music is made lmfao

Here's the Proof (R.I.P) 2010: Recovery drops and flips rap on its ear like somebody dropped corn Early 2011: Tech's mom ask him for the one thing she's always wanted, a collaboration between her son and the greatest to ever touch the mic June 7th, 2011: All 6's and 7's releases, no Em feature. June 8th, 2011: Tech reveals that he had sent the So Lonely beat to Em, but he never got back to him. June 7th, 2014: Three years after her son failed to grant her only wish, an Em collab, Tech's mom passes away. Her son, a failure in her eyes. April 2015: Em finally gives Tech a verse, it's so ill Tech can't live with himself. Not only has he lost him mom, but now he's lost the title as the fastest rapper alive. So what does he do? Speeds up Em's verse in order to destroy his public image.

I'm not denying that eminem 'edited' his verse.. any idiot can tell that he did however the only part where he increased the speed on purpose which clearly effected the pitch is and attack it like a dracula bite, jetpack in my backpack when I write which was obviously done for cartoon-effect humor for real tho..you guys know how double time rapping works? you have to select words that can be pronouced quickly enough after one another so you can actually spit it fast you can't choose random words and expect to say them fast .. even with tons of practice, it will never be as fast as words that have the correct syllable placement having that said, eminems verse uses stuff like just tryna think of the quickest and sickest way for 'em to picket it i pick a day to be a prick and I'm picking the wickedest s--- to say which is essentially a tongue twister.. how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood with enough practice you can spit lines like this extremely fast.. however i don't believe anyone is skilled enough and has enough breathe to spit an entire verse like this without it sounding like s--- and thus you use punch ins which are spitting a few bars at a time as best and quick as possible.. then basically copy/pasting it in the section you need it .. then you start the next lines and do the same its the only way a verse with quad-time can be recorded as far as i know if you guys need more lessons on how rapping works and the process of music is made and why producers exist, let me know :lkm:

The only part that is even a little subject is the portion where he talks about dracula bites and jet packs (on this portion, he may have pitched his vocals higher). People on this forum clearly want to see Eminem fail for some reason. It's like they are the "anti-stans", just as annoying as stans but in the opposite way. There is a clear bias. His Speedom verse isn't some sort of physically impossible verse to do. Yes, he probably layered his vocals, punched in, and did multiple takes of multiple sections. This is just called being a perfectionist. Tech probably did the same, as did Krizz. Many, many vocalist do this, regardless of the genre. Kendrick does this. Kanye does this. Y'all also try to s--- on Eminem for his lyrical content. Kendrick has questionable content as well (often pseudo-intellectual as well). Kanye's lyrics are simplistic, redundant, and tiresome. @Koolo , why are so intent on discrediting Eminem?
