    not sure how you think there will be a future use case for ether and cardano, but think that holding it is dumb?

    the stock market won't go away. fiat won't *immediately* go away, but crypto is the future. 2017/2018, it was hype and premature dreams. 2020/2021, those pipedreams have a real chance of becoming a reality. ask the banks & corps who have invested heavily at this point. these are the real influencers of the validity of the notion of a new, decentralized, digital currency -- and many of them seem to think that there is a future in it and that that future is fast approaching.

    by your logic, because coinbase is a stock that holds actual value, but it makes it's value off of something that holds no value (crypto), then is it actually valuable? i'm confused.

    Not really. There's still the same amount of money in the world. But the poorer people have lost their jobs and the richer people have earned more money. Those richer people are most likely knowledgeable on the stock market and invested the extra money they had, or at least some of it. Hence the increase in market value.

    This isn’t true. Money is created out of debt. The Federal Reserve will loan to the banks — it’s then brought into existence through loans to the people, to which interest is charged on top of these loans & the cycle begins.

    There’s more debt in the world than money circulating. It is **impossible** to recover from the debt without some sort of crash/reset & I wish more people knew this.

    It is a trap, it’s all complete bs.

    The monetary system that is propped up by our economies, is the core problem of our whole system.

    Why is the average Joe going to turn around like "hmm yes my weekly pay check is not sufficient, I will convert it to bit coin and then use the bitcoin in a market 20% the size of the market if I kept my normal money"

    Like fucken why lmao? "oh but-" lol just shhh c----, there's no benefit for a law abiding citizen to use this "privacy!!!!" f--- off lol, who are you trying to hide your money from and why? (your answer is illegal activities isn't it?)

    To be fair, this is a fair challenge/question.

    When will crypto be the standard currency? What is the point up until then?
    I get buying in early and owning before it becomes the norm but that's a h--- of an "if". What is the purpose of it just stays the way it is now?
