Nov 3, 2017 what's wrong with him being influenced by UGK, 3k, TI, etc? just cuz he doesn't have the personality?
Nov 3, 2017 Nothing wrong with it. Just big shoes to fill. If you're going to remind me of some of the best rappers ever, you've got to be good enough to make me forget that I could just listen to them instead.
Nov 3, 2017 I feel ya. I think they're obviously better but KRIT is still sooooo good. There's still something about him that's unique to me tho. Something those other guys don't have, idk what it is.
Nov 4, 2017 LOL! This n----- is definitely at least better than TI at this point of his career. Maybe not the others mentioned, but d--- sure better than TI. Even TI in his f---ing prime. It's just too late to appropriately say that because TI already paved the way for rappers from The South influenced by his Post-Early-2000's Trap Survivor's Aesthetic.
Nov 4, 2017 Besides "Urban Legend" and "King" are the only albums that matter to me in his catalog. Though I realize a lot of people seem to prefer "Paper Trail" over the rest of his catalog and consider that point in his career to be his pinnacle period. I, on the other hand, will have to respectfully disagree with the general consensus, as it pertains to this particular subject matter probably better reserved for a later date and in a straighter-laced conservative thread I'd consider an Ace of Spades.
