Even if it is a publicity stunt, publicly attaching a 25mil pay to Conor's name might not have been the best idea.

Right. Now Dana has basically backed himself in to a corner where Conor knows Dana finds him worth $25 mil, and that's the type of money he'll be asking for now

Mayweather wouldn't knockout McGregor in a Boxing bout...he out win by decision on defense and pts...

in a MMA fight we know McGregor would win 100%

McGregor is just as big in terms of name in the sport of MMA compared to Mayweather...

McGregor fights are much more entertaining, he promotes just as well as Mayweather if not better

Mayweather is a legend in "Boxing", not an entertaining fighter such as Mike Tyson...he wins on defense and pts...great businessman...great promoter...not as entertaining as McGregore

How's it going to look for Dana White and UFC when their biggest star gets f----- up by a 40 year old boxer coming out of retirement.

For $25M they might get Iron Mike but they won't get Floyd lmao

this is so stupid? what are the f---ing rules? 1 on 1 in the boxing ring, then 1 on 1 in the octagon?

or maybe have both fight in an open circle and to make it fair, one of connors legs is tied up so he cant use it and floyd has one hand tied up so he can't use that? like what the f---, it's such a stupid f---ing fight to even want to happen lol

10 x better then when he lost to Diaz....and then became a bigger star?

McGregor isn't a boxer chief, UFC could pull some journeyman out of retirement and he would beat Floyd easily in an MMA fight.

Yea but a McGregor vs Mayweather PPV does double what McGregor vs Khabib/Ferguson winner does. Conor is out here selling these PPV's by himself, he hasn't had a De La Hoya, Canelo or Pacquiao. Could argue Nate Diaz i guess but he wasn't already household names like some of Floyd's big PPV opponents.

Casual fans didn't know who the f--- Eddie Alvarez or Jose Aldo were. You can put Conor in there with anyone and hes selling. Could be McGregor vs the worst guy in the division and it would sell better then Mayweather's retirement fight did lol.

    What are you arguing here?

$25M is a weak offer and Floyd will destroy McGregor. End of discussion

Why don't you read my response to you, never said it wasn't a weak offer. You were insinuating Conor and Dana would look like s--- if Conor loses to Floyd in a sport he doesn't compete in.

    You're wrong...

If Connor lays down the challenge and thinks he can f--- floyd up which he has been saying then it looks bad when he gets his a--- handed to him on a plate by a 40 year old retiree.

Like do you understand how old 40 is in elite sports? It's like you getting f----- up by an actual retiree in real life. And Connor is supposed to be the very best the UFC has to offer and he's in the prime of his life/career.

Conor isn't a boxer, hes an MMA fighter looking for a gigantic pay day. Infants could understand why he wants this fight. And you're acting like Floyd wasn't just fighting a year ago. Tom Brady is about to be 40 and is still playing at an MVP level, Floyd was still fighting at an elite level 15 months ago. Everyone knows Floyd wants that 50-0, just been waiting for the right opponent/pay day.

Conor losing to one of boxing's GOAT's regardless of how he loses, wouldn't be a bad look really. Not gonna hurt his legacy or anything. Conor has already rebounded from an MMA loss, im sure he would rebound fine if he were to lose a boxing fight.

I hate arguing about McGregor with ppl who don't know how to spell his first name.

Then don't argue you're wrong anyway

Any loss is a bad look when you're running your f---ing mouth
