Mar 28, 2023 Try listening to it on car speakers or something like that. I could hear his vocals very well that way, but not in my AirPods. Large oversight by the mixing engineer… the mix should’ve been checked on a bunch of different devices. They clearly didn’t fine-tune the mix for headphones.
Mar 30, 2023 Flames. Only issue for me is it seems like the album is better mixed for Peggy's vocals than Danny's but I've only heard the album once so far on average earbuds.

Mar 30, 2023 Rap AOTY, easily. It’s becoming a meme at this point but honestly, the mixing on Danny’s parts is s---. Especially on the final track, his vocals are completely buried under the beat
Mar 30, 2023 Yeah I mean luckily for the style of music this is it isn't as huge of a deal as it could have been. Knowing them it might even be a stylistic choice in part (tho even if it is, not sure if it rly works 100% regardless). i also remember being bummed @ how Danny's vocals sounded on Freddie Gibbs' "High" off of piñata but I got used to it there so I prob will here too.
