Just finished episode 7. I love how everything has a meaning. Form the littlest of things. Its so well directed and the camera work is fantastic (off thing to like, but it really sticks out for some reason)

Can't wait to finish this up

Vincent D'onofrio is amazing as always, unfortunately I felt that in the last few episodes he had a handful of lines that were way too on-the-nose and kind of take you out of an otherwise amazing performance. But still, props to this guy for really going all out as Fisk.

And serious praise needs to be given to the sound editing on this show. Man does it do an excellent job of easing you into how the character hears the world around him without constantly relying on specific slo-mo scenes. Even relatively unimportant dialogue scenes give great importance to background noise and certain audio ticks that would certainly be heard by Murdock. Really excellent. Visually I was impressed as well, particularly with regards to the long takes during action scenes, as well as the sets feeling very real (and probably expensive). The color palette was also very rich imo. I wasn't expecting the use of yellows and greens in a lot of scenes. Overall it felt very much so like watching a big screen production and not an obviously limited show like Arrow or Flash.

just finished episode 2


the writing is pretty f---ing dumb for some parts/just takes the easiest short cut possible, but the rest of the show is head and shoulders above what I expected. Directing is pretty fantastic...that was like, what, a 5 minute one-take at the end of ep2? Of Matt tired af but kickin a--- anyways in that hallway

gotta keep watching now

there are so many simple changes that could be made to the writing so that show could be SO much better than it already is...and this is just coming from 2 episodes in.

not trying to discredit the show in anyway (cause I just said Im loving it in the last post) but this is the case with so many productions on air, not just specific to Daredevil...shows that are already on their way to being top shelf but then just take the dumbest shortcuts in the writing.

It shouldn't be so hard to walk through your own script and make sure everything is logical/not cheesy lol

I've seen the first 6 episodes now. Ep. 6 was the only episode that bored me, they spent the entire freaking episode in the warehouse which got old to me. But the end of it made up for it the action was great

Just finished episode 4. Trying not to binge this s--- so when season 2 comes around I'm not forgetting everything, but that that seems unlikely.
That whole 5 minute one shot fight scene was amazing. Really digging this s--- so far.
I think this show will be great for a long time. I really like how dark he is at sometimes. I'm glad they're not taking a page out of the book of batman like arrow did. Sure Oliver killed people, but this dude is stabbing people with shards of glass for answers.

Just finished the season loving the show. I never really liked Daredevil that much but this show has made me a fan. The best thing about the show is that he goes around serving justice with a durag on

Just finished the season, enjoyed it quite a bit. Certainly gets rid of the foul taste left by the Daredevil movie. It seems that when in doubt, take inspiration from Frank Miller's version of the character (this show as well as Burton and Nolan's versions of Batman are inspired by Miller's take on Daredevil and Batman). It looks like they shot some scenes in Long Island City, Queens. They probably did some shooting at Silvercup Studios.
