Dec 9, 2025 just because snyder nolan goyer etc don’t pander to the lowest common denominator of society like disney and james gunn do, doesn’t mean their films aren’t vastly superior from a screenwriting and cinematography standpoint. ten year olds relating to or being entertained by guardians of the galaxy 12 or avengers 15 or special ed superman or drunk supergirl is completely unrelated to the shakespearean, operatic experience that you are presented with when you watch man of steel, dawn of justice, the snydercut or even outside of jl sucker punch or watchmen. these movies are modern day mythology and this vision needs to be completed. disney’s superhero movies are essentially just live action cartoons that cater to children and manchildren and are irrelevant here. i love the original iron man trilogy and the original spiderman trilogy and norton’s hulk as much as i love any dc movie, but disney is running marvel into the ground just like they did to pixar and star wars. and by the way, viewership for rebel moon was great. there will always be critics. but even i will admit that zack’s adaptations are better than his own ip, and that extends from legend of the guardians right to rebel moon. so maybe they’re clearing his schedule so he can focus on this. netflix, much like paramount planned/plans to do, needs to capitalize on snyder’s built in audience and just restore this vision so people can finally see the amazing conclusion to this saga of actual serious heroes grappling with an ever changing hyper realistic world and an ever looming threat of annihilation (or light at the end of the tunnel) that’s been over a decade in the making

You do realize Pixar just had a record breaking movie last summer, and so did Marvel studios?! Inside out 2 and Deadpool and Wolverine are literally all time best selling movies ever in the history of cinema. And today Zootopia 2 is making a record breaking performance in just 2 weeks of being out and nominated for golden globes. I think you guys are stuck in your online bubbles. That’s 3 Billion pictures in just the last year from each of Disney’s studios. Lmfao

If that universe was successful it wouldn’t have been canned. Let’s use our brains people. Snyder fans are really the most delusional people on the planet.
