    When the characters aren't even Japanese anymore, and the poor choices for portrayals... makes me think it's gonna be awful, besides ryuk who's pretty on point lol. Light Turner, etc... like it may just be an adaptation, but it's like they're changing it too much.

    Meh. I feel like the race of characters doesn't change anything for me. If it was a movie about slaves and it had a bunch of white people id be like okay this odd.
