    Ive watched the anime but If someone had told me hey the anime is way better than this movie. I wouldnt even give the anime a chance after watching this s---

    Still haven't watched it and probably won't. For some reason I thought they were making a series and not a movie. I was excited for it because I thought they were doing a different take on it. So I could sit here and serperate the anime and live action. But knowing it's a movie makes me not want to see it. And in the 10-15 min I watched the acting was horse s---.

    Its actually a different take, but definitely not one worth watching. Light seems to be pretty r-----ed on this one too.

    Within 5 minutes of meeting a girl he tells her that he's a murderer and about the Death Note lmfaoo:KoolAid1:

    never seen the anime, could give a f--- less about it, but the trailer for this seemed interesting

    now that it's out, I kind of want to watch it but... I can't tell from reactions online whether or not this is bad, or if weebs are just pissed about it not being a 1:1 retelling

    so can someone who isn't an anime dork clue me in
