Oct 5, 2019 idk how people think that just because Biden and his son engaged in corruption, that makes it ok for Trump to engage in corruption? If Biden used his power to get Ukrainians to fire the prosecutor investigating the company that Biden's son was CEO of to help his son, yeah that's corruption/extortion and they should be formally investigated and held accountable. But how can you not see Trump tried to do the same thing if not worse? It'd be different if Trump had called for attention for a formal inquiry through official and legal channels or the media on Biden. Obviously some would call it a smear campaign but it wouldn't be illegal. Trump didn't do that though, he basically tried to strong-arm a foreign government to investigate his political rival to sabotage him to influence a democratic election in his favour. He pretty much did what he always fiercely denied doing with the whole Russia Mueller thing. But none of that matters because he was "investigating" Biden for corruption? I can at least understand people who say the allegations against Trump aren't true, because at least they're attempting to use basic logic. Your logic is basically "I'm gonna prove you're gay by sucking off all the guys in town for dirt on you, you f--"

Oct 5, 2019 Yeah they didn't have hard evidence like Trump directly implicating himself with the Russian investigation, like a phone call for example of Trump doing exactly that. If they can prove the Ukrainian phone calls, wouldn't that practically be a check-mate?
Oct 6, 2019 The Mueller investigation into Trump-Russia failed to provide any hard clear cut evidence that Trump himself had directly conspired with or solicited the help of a foreign nation/nationals (Russia) to influence U.S elections in his favour. Now with the Ukraine thing, they potentially have Trump on the phone directly conspiring with a foreign nation (Ukraine) to influence the U.S elections in his favour. So Trump is in a bit of a pickle. Idk how much more I can simplify things
