Sep 18, 2017 lol i was actually gonna try join your party and sing national anthem till you guys wiped and then raged like who da f--- but i dunno how the f--- that ps4 s--- works properly so ended up inviting you to my chat. server reset is like 9 hours from now btw, new milestones and raids and strikes n s--- or whatever. im gonna be playing a s--- ton with my mate in like 2ish hours before the reset happens. needa try get rat king and beat the raid.

Sep 19, 2017 @Final game is crack me n my mate were on for like nearly 2 hours last night after i msgd u saying we were only gonna be on for about an hour. you done your 2nd raid yet? I just beat it with a group yesterday. took us about 4 hours to do that Calus c----. f---ing 5th or so attempt got the c---- to like 10% health, so we go do the symbol call-out s--- and some f---ing c---- rag inside the throne room punched the wrong Psion and the whole thing f----- up. nearly fucken raged right then and there
Sep 19, 2017 You shoulda joined! @Trackz joined and we knocked the entire raid out in about... 3-4 hours or so? Then spent like another 2 hours searching for the chest keys lol Best group I've had yet and we even had a random lol
Sep 19, 2017 And no I haven't had a chance to make anymore characters to run it again so I need to start on that. I got raid helmet, boots, armpiece thingy and chestplate now so I'll probably make a titan and hunter. I usually make another warlock to get raid gear faster but since I've got 4 pieces I'll just start on other classes
Sep 19, 2017 lol i probably wouldn't of had the patience to do the raid last night anyways. I got some raid gear but I honestly don't think it looks that cool and it was lower power then the s--- I already had. i'm tempted to start a new character but not sure, feels kinda like wont have much benefits apart from1 gun people say is OP in new nightfall and some of the exotic gear. my only worry is ill get bored trying to get a 2nd character to lvl 20/270 power i never played destiny 1 btw.
Sep 19, 2017 like what is stopping me from grinding another character to 20 via public events, then just equipping all my vaulted gear I have now, then getting exotics from story mode that are equal/higher power ratings?
Sep 19, 2017 I also think the raid gear is lacking.. the chestplate for warlock looks cool but that's kinda it. I'm hoping hard mode will introduce better armor. Hmmm if you plan on playing Destiny long term, making the other 2 classes is how you're gonna get more replayability out of the game. It lets you do everything 3 times per week. Once you get used to the gameplay, you can literally run thru all the missions and skip thru so much of the story and beat it in like 3 hours. (skip cutscenes, always look at minimap for story icon, etc) I zoom thru that s--- fast. Plus you get to try out the other classes. I hate hunters but they are actually really good
Sep 19, 2017 f--- i am really tempted. just dunno if i wanna do another play through with a titan, or a diff character. I just like titans cause they look dope dewd. I'm just thinkign though, if i grinded another titan to 20, i could just equip all the gear i already have and have a 290+ power titan and it might be a mad grind, but like you're guaranteed i think about 3 exotics from the main story, i figure if i have 290 power those exotics wont roll trash power scores... I'll probably do it, just worried the story exotics will always be trash/it will take too long to get 20 before completing most of the campaign.
Sep 19, 2017 I was gonna do that too when I make another character even there's only 2 exotics from the story I don't have since I've gotten the others as drops. I would do it just for the power level but I still have like all the exotic story missions to do and I know those will drop high now since I waited so late to do them. I only have Sturm atm. Working on MidaTool.
Sep 19, 2017 I think they nerfed it but farming heroic events on Titan was super good. I got like 4 exotic engrams from it. Lately I've been getting them from random chests... I try to always have a medallion coin active for that loot bonus if I'm gonna farm something
Sep 19, 2017 yeah me and a friend have noticed there seems to be like a timer of sorts for chests now. like lost sector/token chests/public event chests. so like, say for example we are f---ing around on Nessus. after probably like 2-3 PE's or 15 minutes, all your chests you open will be trash unless you fast travel to the same planet (even then, it seems like if you open too many youre stuck with rares/tokens). Like one of the biggest things I've noticed is whenever i get Exotic Engrams from PE's it's almost always the first PE of the day that i do. like almost 100% guarantee if I haven't done a PE in about a day, it will drop exotic engram. My mate is now saying the same thing happens to him. Like i can't say 100% if that's true, but for example; two days ago i was grinding PE's for exotics and did like 20 without getting a single exotic. The next day my first PE i get an exotic.
