Dec 23, 2017 The rollout didn't help sales, but curious if Trump supporters ditched Eminem. It was already statistically proven his largest fan base is white rural America. Below is a heat map of his fan base. Thoughts? It's almost like what he was hoping would help sales (controversy of president) actually back fired.
Dec 23, 2017 If whole album sounded like believe, castle and arose, it wouldn't matter. Sales would be through the roof. People don't want this s---. Why you think believe creeped into spotify top played. People added it to their playlist and said f--- the rest. Some might not have even heard castle and arose. Get halfway through album and say f--- this. I'm an Eminem fan that struggled to finish the album. Imagine a casual listeners reaction.
Dec 23, 2017 Casual listeners never listen to whole album at all. I can't listen to a whole album if it's not a rap album. Most of the rap albums I just play in the background while working on smh so that's barely listenin to it. Do u think a mainstream fan listen to whole album of any rapper at all ? Maybe once and never again unless he is a big fan of the guy. Same goes with this too. Eminem actually did pretty well with streams. His real lack was in sales in US which seems to be caused by Trump s---.
Dec 23, 2017 Yes. I know a couple of people that didn't even think about the album because of that freestyle, and I'm in one of the most liberal states there is.
Dec 23, 2017 Wouldn’t surprise me if that’s why his sales were so low. Glad he separated himself from those fans though.
Dec 23, 2017 Absolutely. This is the most hate Ive seen Eminem get in his career. They’ve gone from worshipping the ground he walks on to shi--ing on every single thing he does.
Dec 23, 2017 It's almost funny looking back...the revival medical ad was so genius, then it went nowhere. Single flopped. SNL was a "melody" of old hit. Second single was atrocious. No video. No actual confirmation of an album (but yet not a suprise release? Wtf) Album pushback . They really f----- it up....then "drawing a line in the sand" clearly turned off a chunk of his fanbase. Clearly those who buy cd's, haha.
Dec 23, 2017 I think whether calculated or not, Eminem made the right decision to abandon his Trumpsters. If it wasn’t for black culture Eminem would have no career and he owes it not only to black culture, but also to the community he was raised in. But to answer your question I would say yes, there are some die hard Trump fans that were probably butt hurt from Ems attacks on Trump.
