Holy s---, this is some of the best production and rapping I have ever heard. I really do not even have words. You mean to tell me it gets even better than this with Madvillainy?? I was constantly nodding my head throughout the album and making stank faces, love love LOVE this album. "I'm jokin' on the fact that hip-hop has gone freakshow/Don't let the drama get you/In the only genre of music where the fans s---t the messenger"

You should do a deep dive on this little indie artist, his name is Marshall and he is the Antichrist. A Very underground white boy, who raps in a whiny high pitch voice, but once he steps in a booth… told you mic Smoke. Discography is all over the place, and his record label can’t promote to save thier life. But give him a try, swear you’ll realize he is top 5, minus 4.

This was a cool project! Not that 8.5 is a low score, but I was hoping to like it even more. I know I got some absolute classic albums coming up so I’m super hyped to continue on!

He was making a happier, more upbeat album but then Selena Gomez and him broke up so he made My Dear Melancholy and released it instead. This is one of my favorites as it released at the perfect time when I was also going through a very similar breakup.

My Dear Melancholy, - The Weeknd

Score: 8.0

Cool little EP, enjoyed every song. I'm pretty sure this was part of something bigger than got cut down and released to be a bridge between Starboy and After Hours? I could be wrong, but regardless, a nice little EP before the newest trilogy of his career.
