sure I agree with you in a vacuum but the fact is there IS (historical) context like you said. and it's not that big of a deal to just not say it. I don't understand why people die on this hill—I wish we were at a point in society where it was fine in context but we're not. It's more hurtful for a black person to hear the n-word even in "context" than it is hurtful for a white person to not be allowed to say it. There's like 10 words in the english language you shouldn't say and it's not hard to not say them. So just don't lol.

this needs a quick re up for anyone who hasn't heard it. it's eminem in 1993 and it's pretty good. not unlistenable trash like 90% of that stuff
