Jul 12, 2021 I thought 2 and 2.5 were s--- had like 3 good tracks on both. for me his last real good album was in 2005
Jul 12, 2021 Doctor's advocate and 2.5 are fun from start to finish. He just will never have the features people love Documentary for, don't see him working with Em or 50 again, and Nate is dead.
Jul 12, 2021 I didn’t say anything about features… His best album will always be Documentary thanks to the 50 Cent formula… he copied that formula with his second and third project. After those he became very mediocre. He’s just a rehash at this point. Has been from day dot though hasn’t he. I put him in the same bracket as Rick Ross although The Game is better than Officer Ross.
Jul 12, 2021 this should’ve finished all credibility Ross had I rap but the game shifted (one of the reasons 50 lost interest)
Jul 12, 2021 Game got better after that album imo. And some of the best songs didn't even have anything to do with 50 (Dreams & Put You On The Game are classics). People just overhype 50 and Game together. 50 was on fire back then, but it pretty much ended on his second album. Curtis was pretty weak, he barely tried. He was very good for a very short time. Still a goat tho
Jul 12, 2021 Ross just a good artist that kept getting better. And he also had connections with other artists that were tired of 50 too.
Jul 12, 2021 I love 50, but his last big album was Curtis and it was weak. He lost his touch very early in his career, it sucks, but that's what happened. Game fell off too, but his career wasn't as short as 50s.
Jul 12, 2021 I only liked a few from 92 as well… Carmen Electra track is fire. Edit: is carmen track on born 2 rap album?
