    The build up from the first bell sound at 0:45 up until 1:30ish when the beat drops still gives me goosebumps.

    def not alone. I think swizz is a trash producer and was having the same thoughts as you. But DMX and Swizz also have a bond so hopefully they vibed off each other.

    swizz stated the album was finished in snoops studio. DMX also said in early interviews that dr dre might have a couple joints on it (being finished In snoops studio is even a higher like ability that they worked together. Kanye was also involved with some production. So it’s not just strictly DMX over And swizz

    Excited for this album. My only concern is that it is being executive produced by Swizz Beats. Not sure if I'm alone here, but I've never been a big fan of his production. He has had a few hits, but the majority are misses to me.

    I might get a lot of s--- for this but I think Year Of The Dog Again.. is a better album than Flesh of my Flesh.

    Flesh is the only X album that doesn't have any standout tracks that come to mind. Maybe "Dogs for Life" but all the other albums have a few bangers.

    How i'd rank them:

    1. It's Dark and h--- is Hot
    2. ...And then there was X
    3. The Great Depression
    4. Grand Champ
    5. Year of the Dog... Again
    6. Flesh of my Flesh, Blood of my Blood
    7. Undisputed

    Maybe the fact that Flesh of My Flesh was released only 6 or 7 months after It's Dark and h--- is Hot explains the lack of hits.

    3 & 4 are interchangeable depending on the mood.

    It's Dark IS his first album. Since it was released the same year as FOMFBOMB it's ordered alphabetically.
