Nov 17, 2015 i never said he recaptured anything fam, and the use of cringeworthy is pretty bad in and of itself FTR. the album is decent.
Nov 17, 2015 its a step back frpm the music he was making in 94 and 95, as far as skill goes, aside from infinite etc. but the emotion in it trumps most of his later projects.
Nov 17, 2015 maybe its cause i associate it with the actual song infinite The blueprints been on repeat last few days. H.O.V.A. and Never Change go too hard
Nov 17, 2015 For a second I thought you were gonna put it in the top 4-5. Mine would be TES MMLP SSLP Recovery Encore Relapse MMLP2
Nov 17, 2015 surprised at the relapse ranking tbh MMLP TES SSLP Relapse MMLP2 Recovery Encore i personally enjoy all the albums to ranking them is kind of awkward, but thats just my thoughts in ranking, it isnt fair to my love for music imo.
Nov 17, 2015 its not, thats what im saying when i say it isnt fair.. i enjoyed relapse more than recovery, and i overplayed the f--- out of recovery at the time of release, so at this time in my life, it literally just isnt the same as it was lol
Nov 17, 2015 Recovery his highest point in terms of personal issues. He got outof the slump he was in
Nov 17, 2015 People always say he never listens to fans, I disagree. He's just listening to the wrong ones. His biggest mistake was trying to "recapture that lightning in a bottle". Recovery wasn't perfect, but it represented progresst, he was moving in the right direction, then he got back with Royce and kind of went downhill again. Hopefully he switches it up on the next album. Relapse has really grown on me the past few years. It's still really awful in some parts, but there's definitely highlights, the production being the most notable.
Nov 17, 2015 Am I the only one who puts MMLP2 4th ? TES MMLP SSLP MMLP2 RECOVERY ENCORE RELAPSE (those bottom 3 are just how I feel RN, the order of those constantly change.) Ranking his albums also seems weird me because I like them all in different ways
