Do we have any GOOD athletes on section eighty, and if so, which sport?

    Played college football and track.
I still hold some records for my college and high school, but I'm sure they'll be broken. My high school record hasn't been broken in 13 years.
Ive been able to dunk since I was 15, too. I'm a pretty good baseball and basketball player too.

I like to send @Soldier snaps of my medals and newspaper articles.

From age 4-12, I was pretty elite at soccer. From age 8 and up (the youngest you could be), I was in a competitive traveling league in Florida. Got to basically tour the state every weekend. Set a couple records for my position (Left striker) in my district and region, but once I got an Xbox, I found out I could have fun on my couch and never really went back lol. Played for my school team a couple years later, but I was never the same and no longer had the technique to go anywhere with it (our team was still great though).

Now, I've started the football team at my university because I need something to do and miss competitive sports and having a team to be a part of, and I'm okay, but nothing crazy ( HB ). We're a real small campus, so we're also going to be playing other real small campuses in the area with clubs, not teams, but it's fine. Something to do.

I played football and I wrestled in high school. I always loved football but I just never tryed out to play until my sophomore year. The db coach told me I should wrestle after my first season so I did. It kept me busy and I grew to love and respect the sport. I made 1st team all conference my senior year and was a captain. I wasn't very good my sophomore as the rest of the team wasnt either cus the head coach didnt give a s---. I dont even know why i started that year lol.

I worked my a--- off on my own to make something out of myself. Was most improved junior year and we got a new head coach after that season. He saw something in me and started me both ways. I wouldn't be able to afford a private school education if I never played so im forever grateful for what the sport gave me. I also played pickup basketball at the rec with my boys some during the offseason. I played d but I couldn't s---t cus I benched too much

Nah fam, we're just a football club. We get together and practice twice a week and play a game on Saturday. It's similar to like HS. If you show up and commit to practicing and playing, you're on the team. We're right in the heart of Pittsburgh though, so we're around 7 or 8 campuses within twenty minutes and the only one with a legitimate football team is Pitt, so our clubs play each other every weekend. It's a fun hobby to pass some time.

No, I'm at Point Park University. Pitt is about ten mins away at most. Pitt is the only D1 school in the area, so we'll play a bunch of schools near us BUT them.

@M Solo sorry to hear about the car wreck that messed up your career. But at least you put everything you had into it. Effort and how hard you work at a craft is something everyone can control. You know? As opposed to being born with lots of athleticism...which is obviously something ppl can't really control. So it's important to work hard even if you aren't the most athletic person.

I just read everyone's post.....good stuff you guys!

    Yeah man. Muscular Dystrophy.
Nah there's no wheelchair MMA :laff:

My boy did do Judo though and he has Cerebral Palsy so it was mainly takedowns that he trained in. He did it sporadically though.

peaked as an athlete at 14, but my last year of organized football (7th grade) my team went undefeated and didn't let up a TD all season lol.

joined the drinking team shortly after and my life has been a complete joke since. I blame it all on my parents.
