Apr 2, 2017 Obviously, a lot of s--- can and will happen from now until then, but it's fun to speculate. Imo, Trump has a pretty good chance. The Democrats are so determined to get donor money they will likely continue to be economically indifferent and just scream and holler about how much they love minorities. Trump only beat Hillary in the first place because he actually addressed people's economic struggle. Even if he was lying to them, he at least acknowledged them. Hillary didn't even acknowledge them, and I don't see the Democrats changing. The Democrats can't actually argue for liberal economics because it goes against what the donors want. However, I could see the Democrats running a corporatist like Cory Booker who can put up a good show and give vauge platitudes about hope and change that would end up being good enough. Trump will almost surely be disliked by 60% of the population so maybe it won't be hard for the Democrats to pull it off. It's such ashame though. If you look at issue after issue THE COUNTRY IS LIBERAL. The problem is the Democrats aren't actually liberal. If you got a Democrat (like Bernie) who actually goes and argues for liberal economics, the Republicans would be obliterated.
Apr 2, 2017 Wayyyyyyyy too early to tell. If an election was held today, I'd say no. His approval rating is in the low 40's. A big chunk of his supporters are beginning to realize he wants to cut programs that benefit them. Two of his biggest promises (healthcare repeal/replace and Muslim ban) are dead. He's currently under FBI investigation. Hasn't exactly had the best start.
Apr 3, 2017 Very optimistic to think any of us will still be alive in 2020 to see what happens. But if we are, Michelle Obama taking the first female president title.
Apr 3, 2017 You must be outta your g.d. mind if you're voting for this guy again after seeing how he's doing right now.
