Mar 15, 2017 Yeah, the first two seasons are way better. Like @Swizz I liked San Junipero and - to a lesser extent - Shut Up and Dance, but most of the third season was prrrrriiity just ok.

Mar 15, 2017 what's with the Westworld comparisons wtf I don't totally agree, I think the only real duds to me in season 3 were Nosedive (which, as I said, squandered its premise - really went off the rails for some reason) and Men Against Fire (which just bored me to tears). Everything else was really solid. The show is still really good, but there are naturally going to be some misses every once in a while btw let's not forget White Christmas which is straight fiyah

Mar 15, 2017 Well tonally it was sooo different from anything the show had tried. It was so American, and - with Rashida Jones and Michael Schur at the reigns - felt like fan service or something. Thought playtest and hated in the nation were pretty mediocre, or just less exciting additions too. No question - I lump that in with s2 I guess. Great episode. quality control issue is what im thinking of. s1 and s2 were like three episodes a piece and were pretty far apart. s3 dbled the total number of episodes essentially
Mar 15, 2017 I really disliked nosedive, was pretty bad compared to the rest of the series. just reeked of "social media is bad guys" and didn't seem as unique as any other eps and lacked any kind of charm. I didn't give a s--- that she was losing points, so found it hard to connect or relate to anything in it.
Mar 15, 2017 Westworld is focused on the dangerous sides of technology too, I just get the same vibe from it as Black Mirror. Like I could easily see the plot of Westworld being crunched into one Black Mirror episode.
Mar 15, 2017 also was trying for so hard to find out where i knew the Get Out actor from until i looked it up and remembered he was in a black mirror episode
