Jul 9, 2016 Did not know that. I've applied for Starbucks, Target, even McDonald's... All turned me down. I'm considering getting a job. I've always wanted a job.
Jul 9, 2016 You said you have resentment for your father because he is overworked. Why don't you help him by supporting yourself?
Jul 9, 2016 what is the point of threads like this you know what needs to be done, get out there and do it, stop making yourself feel bad
Jul 9, 2016 That is true. You are right. He isn't overworked because of me. He's overworked because he's got the business. In any case. I'm going AWOL for a couple of days. Need to think about stuff.
Jul 10, 2016 Good luck on your pursuit of happiness. Take heed of some of the advice given in this thread.
Jul 10, 2016 That can actually have opposite effect bro especially if you havnt got a good job, just because your busy with work doesn't mean you cant be depressed, when i had depression work was were i felt the worse. A lot of suicides are work related .
Jul 10, 2016 When i had depression what helped more than anything was physical activity outside. I was depressed most of my teenager years then I started Surfing i can say with certainty that it saved my life and gave me something worth living for.
Jul 10, 2016 Well you decided to make this thread... So I can see what you mean about s--- decisions. What do you want? For us to decide for you? If you REALLY wanted a job, like REALLY wanted one, you'd find one. Why not ask your dad if you can work with him?
Jul 10, 2016 Don't listen to those people. .. don't give up on your dream for a regular job .... a diamond take 3 millions years to shine ... don't lose hope or get upset
Jul 10, 2016 Go get a job, I don't know how people can sit inside all day and do nothing. And being unemployed at 26 is bad too, at least get something small for the time being until you figure things out.
Jul 11, 2016 You say you don't have social life, and the first step of getting one is being social. I work part time since I'm in school and I can't tell you how many good people you can meet in the work environment. You'll be earning money, meeting some new people, and you can still do your music on the side. Everything will unfold, you just got to take action and not sit back.
Jul 11, 2016 Get in some physical activity. A healthy body helps to clear the mind. Preferably outside. Read up, politics or general news. No need to form any conclusions, but it gives you a better understanding of the outside world. and keeping your mind active is a great way to fight off depression. Get out of your home, and talk to people. In relaxed environments preferably, simply start off with a question about politics or the weather (don't be awkward) and start a few conversations, a learn a few names. even if you never see them again, a good chat is better than any drug. Motivate yourself. This seems to be your worst problem. Some people will say "Get off your a---" without realizing how little saying that will do. I'm sure you've heard it already. But your dad works alot eh. Try squeezing in as much time with your dad as possible, try to work with him, if even for free (like his personal assistant or whatnot.) get in some idle chatter. I think if you can get close to your busy dad, then maybe you could get some influence and motivation from him.
Jul 2, 2018 I see why you like to f--- teenagers now you were so limp dicked when you should of been f---ing them lmfao
