    I love the show, and Fear The Walking Dead seems like it's off to a good start as well

    I get the appeal, and there have been lots of moments on the show that I love, but so much of the writing and character development has been absolute horse s--- that I don't bother to keep up with it.

    The Walking Dead is like a box of chocolates. Don't know what you're gonna get every episode. You could get the terrible version of the show or you could get the good version.

    Point is, TWD is probably the most inconsistent show right now. Plenty of other shows are up front about their badness. Other shows are just really good. TWD on the other hand... five seasons in and it still doesn't know whether it wants to be a good show or a bad show.
