Apr 6, 2016 It's a general consensus that Kanye has one of, if not the best discography in hip hop. Now, tlop wasn't bad, but it wasn't his greatest album either. Like, I could see people calling every album of kanye his best album and understand why, but not TLOP. There's no way you can think it's his best album. Does that means it's his worst? If yes, does it tarnish his discography?
Apr 6, 2016 It's not his best work but it is by no means a stain on his legacy. Even if it isn't groundbreaking, he has continued the trend of making good music without a real misstep.
Apr 6, 2016 If anything I guess it could be considered a small blemish. For me the roll out and the release of a seemingly unfinished project is what more or less ruined the experience for me. Listening to version 2.0 was alot better but the initial disappointment was/is still there so im personally going to give it more time before I fully judge how I feel about this album.
Apr 6, 2016 Nah. Even if it's not a huge game changer in terms of sound like most of his previous albums, it's still a good to great album in its own right. I still play it regularly.
Apr 6, 2016 Time will make the prerelease hype background noise. When people in ten years go through his discography, this will be yet another good project attached to his name.
Apr 6, 2016 I agree..it just usually takes me a while to get into things that piss me off to the degree this album did
Apr 6, 2016 Why does it worry you? No one's opinion should make or break this album for you, it's a good to great album at times
Apr 6, 2016 I was worried about my idol not being considered the best album maker anymore Stan problems
Apr 6, 2016 no not at all. BUT, honestly, it would be a MUCH better and satisfied album if he would release it on CD so we know it is finished and not going to be changed. i wish it was released in a better way
Apr 6, 2016 The best things about this album are the famous outro, freestyle 4 and the fact it's gonna be updated continuously imo
Apr 6, 2016 Considering its one of the best projects of the year on top of having an innovative rollout/post-rollout experience, no don't think so
