Mar 13, 2020 Vibing to this one heavy rn. Dope as f---. Production is dope, Donny's vocals stay insane. A bit dissapointed with: 1).Cardigan being repetitive. 2).No Trav on Afterparty. 3).Short tracklist. But no bad songs. Everything slaps. The intro, all the singles, Afterparty, Wasted, No Photos are insane. 8.5/10. 2 great Uzi albums. A f---ing fire Eminem album. A Jay x Jay Z album. The Weeknd up next. 2020 is f---ing goated.
Mar 13, 2020 I listened to it directly after listening to Rich The Mid and Blueface's albums so it was refreshing at first, but then it got stale quick and I think that burnout caused my post. I took a break and found myself actually wanting to go back and hear more so I think it's actually pretty good.
Mar 13, 2020 I was hoping there'd be some real "whoa" moments on here but I was a bit let down...even the features were mid However, it's incredibly solid throughout. From the album art to the outro synths on most of the tracks...wheeew.
Mar 13, 2020 the best songs on this are still Can't Feel My Legs and No Idea Candy is the best of the new songs
Mar 13, 2020 all the songs where jackboys are involved (euphoria, had enough, spaceship) are the weakest i get that hes on cactus jack but it feels like they tried to apply travis's formula to a very unique artist
Mar 13, 2020 i liked this on first few listens. Nothing mind-blowing but dope. After Party, Candy and Spaceship big standouts.
Mar 16, 2020 Its just as good as Donny Womack imo. Donny Womack had more hard-hitting banging production and more complete performances from Don. But this one is a better product musically. Chill, smooth, crisp. Don still shows his vocal versatility. Espicially on tracks like the intro track. Having them smash hit singles helped too and elevated the album. He is repetitive on a track or two but his vocals and production make up for it. Morever, its short. Both are equally good. Donny shows his more chaotic, hard-hitting style that would slap inside a club while this one is more chill. It has the mainstream sound that Don needed to kickstart his career as a major label artist. 2 albums, multiple singles and not a single bad song. Heaven or h--- is the hardest intro of 2020.
Mar 19, 2020 https://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/don-toliver-heaven-or-h---/ pretty apt review its not a bad album by any stretch, its just too much travis scott and not enough don toliver
