    Completely justified in situations that call for it. If someone is withholding information that is threatening to the citizens of your country, none of this liberal bs should protect them.

    There was a comment trudeau made about how "terrorists found in canada won't have their citizenship revoked because it's not a privilege that you get for being on your best behaviour" or something along those lines. It makes me f---ing sick. I get that people are people but this bs is getting taken too far. If someone is a threat to the people OF YOUR COUNTRY, it's your duty as a leader to make sure the people in your country are safe. I wish I could emigrate somewhere else other than canada, somewhere where the leader of the country is more concerned about the safety of the people within the country rather than the feelings of the people outside of it, but it's hard to do.

    This is not even about Trump... its so pathetic that people feel sorry for terrorist. I would f---ing burn them if it meant saving innocent lives.

    It makes us look strong actually and makes the enemy fear us.. Right now we look weak and I know you're all for that but trust me, its not a good thing. Why do you care so much about terrorist getting hurt?

    The only time this would be ok is if we were in a ticking time bomb scenario...but that literally never happens.

    And although I'm against water boarding, I agree with @JMG that there is this massive campaign to try and lessen legitimate anger against terrorists. People on the left make it incredibly hard for me to sympathize with them, even when those causes are justified.

    Well look at it this way

    Water boarding 'ordinary' terrorists is maybe a no no but, if a terrorist is confirmed to have vital information about an imminent attack, I want my government to do anything in their power to find that out.

    I really don't see the argument here
