Jul 24, 2016 I'm curious, which is better... The hardcore horror flick Doom 3 or it's big actiony brother Doom?
Jul 24, 2016 Half-Life 2 buried it thanks to the gravity gun gimmick; Doom 3 needed a better chance at making it, it's graphics were way ahead of it's time and it's atmosphere was actually pretty claustrophobic and disorienting. In fact playing it with siikmod on really makes it feel like an even more modern game despite the most recent Doom having better graphics. I really hate the trend of games being "easily playable" and "easily beatable" without any hardcore elements in there. Whatever happened to the days where the PC and console were segregated and the PC got all of the best games?
Jul 24, 2016 Really enjoyed how in doom 3 you needed 2 players, one to s---t and one to hold a torch the entire time because of how dark it was 2016 was a lot of fun despite some garbage boss battles
Jul 24, 2016 Doom 3 is bad DOOM is great... if you like arena shooters/original doom it's a nice throwback/reboot
