    Yup. Hopefully we get it this time. The version of Detox must have changed so many times over the years. Pretty sure I read somewhere that he wouldn't release it because the songs sounded dated. So i assume he's been working on a lot of new materiel.

    Anyway, in 2002 he told us it was coming so it should be any time now.

    Dre's standards are as flawed as anyone else's though. His stamp is on a fair share of duds, he even shot a video for 'I Need a Doctor' with that atrocious beat. His indecision is a privilege that Dre can enjoy and his career can weather, but s----canning other people's projects has done massive damage to their careers. Several times now we've seen him sign people, put them to work on his material, never let them release their own, and they eventually leave and have to go indy because their buzz is long dead. Dre mostly signs decent talent. Then he wastes it, cause he's afraid of a 7/10.

    All this divorce s--- is actually quite sad. I've followed these guys (X, Dre, Kanye etc) for almost half of my life. I don't like knowing their lives are falling apart. Also, it's crazy that even in the world of social media we as fans only know of a percentage of their lives. Unless you're someone like one or two of the people on this site who knows the brand of toothpaste someone uses...
