Speaking of that, do you think future trunks would appear in the last episodes of DBS or they'd have present Trunks to grow up and look and act exactly like his future self (because in the end of DBZ when Trunks grew up, he didn't really look like his future self when it came to the gear and such and it disappointed me a bit tbh).
Mar 10, 2017 Future trunks & kid trunks don't even have the same hair color in DBS. Future trunks has had a darker life. And they have to separate the characters as much as possible. Even though they are the same person.
Mar 11, 2017 Browsing through /a/ and the mention of Pikkon got me thinking... why haven't we seen more of the other quadrants? Especially after the anime only Otherworld Tournament arc? I know the fighters we got are taking it back old school and represent the main villains of the series, but this next arc would be the perfect opportunity to include fighters from the other 3 quadrants. South Kai is canon since he was seen in the manga, so no problem introducing him and his fighters. West and East Kai were anime only so we already have those designs. Include Pikkon from West, that big blue guy from South and someone from East to make 13 competitors equalling the total number of universes.

Mar 12, 2017 Not every fighter from every universe is as strong as Goku and Vegeta. There is probably 3-4 that strong. And I guarantee they will use the time chamber. There is only 40 hours to get all the fighters together and s---.

Mar 14, 2017 Pikkon is a filler only character, he was not in the manga, so you can say he is not manga canon, but he is anime canon (?)) ... though the movies have never been canon and is the reason why Broly isn't canon. If Pikkon was canon he could have defeated Cell for everyone and fused with Piccolo to defeat Buu.. he simply didn't exist because he was a character introduced in a movie/filler. Only way I would consider him canon is if he appeared in this tournament
