Feb 16, 2018 People accumulating massive amounts of wealth is driving the poor conditions these people live in m8.
Feb 16, 2018 I understand that. Dude spent 1 million on helping out some locals and you talk it down by pointing out fundamental flaws in the capitalistic system. What do you expect him to do, give up 100% of his wealth because capitalism is evil?
Feb 16, 2018 Timing couldn't have been better, unfortunately. Florida needs the most positivity and uplifting it could get. Not asking em to donate to the affected families, but I hope it sparks a unity to aid each other
Feb 16, 2018 crazy how people under the comments still find something negetive to say. That's HIS money you can't really tell someone what to do with the cash most hip hop listeners gave him. don't see what's hard spreading peace and love of your own but
Feb 16, 2018 But if he gave up 95% of his earnings, he'd still only be a multimillionaire! Good on Drake for doing this. It's equivalent to the average American citizen donating like $500 though. I'm just more concerned with how philanthropy in this capitalistic system is used as propaganda to perpetuate inequality.
Feb 16, 2018 Let's be real, giving up 95% of his earnings would impact his lifestyle massively. I don't expect anyone to downgrade their own lifestyle for the sake of it. I understand your way of thoughts though, I just don't think it's beneficial in any way. It is what it is, he did something positive for the community, Drake gets his attention, it's a win-win situation. He also hopefully encouraged other people to donate something, too. And we should do the same, no matter how small the donations are, instead of nagging how the amount they donated wasn't enough.
Feb 16, 2018 PFFFFFFFFFT HAHAHAHHAHA what a f---ing loser, gives away like 1% of his total wealth and acts like he's fucken jesus. you guys need to stop sucking this fa----s c---, guy is a f---ing JOKE.
