May 10, 2016 So that Grammys part is the hook? This "verse" was beyond awful. I was working out to the album today and heard this song for the first time. I literally burst out in the gym "what the f--- is this s---" and had to stop working out as I realized how offended I am by the state of music these days. I routinely hear the justification for this kind of music as "using your voice as an instrument". I've never really accepted this as this has been done since the advent of lyrical songs. However, people have accomplished this with substance (which these trap guys clearly lack). So now we have a guy not using his voice as an instrument at all. Just yelling. Yelling jibberish.
